Hi! I am Jen!
I am a born and raised Florida native, lover of the sun and sea, all things design, mother of two, and wife. As a designer it means so much to me to create spaces that reflect you and your family. It is important to operate my design business in a streamlined manner in which I work closely with my clients from conception to completion. I am a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer with the NKBA and have been designing since 2008. I am driven by passion and I design with the intention of creating inspired spaces that encourage people to deeply connect with their homes, lives, and families. My design style leans toward natural and functional interiors that are also approachable and family-friendly.
I currently reside in sunny Delray Beach, Florida with my husband, two children, and mother.
My philosophy
Your home is a reflection of you, what you love, and what you want to create in your life. The place where all of your stories are generated and shared. The intention is that your home should be a complete haven for all of life’s moments, both ordinary and extraordinary; filled with all the vibes and character you can imagine. Everything I do is designed to make your home as “you” as it can be, with a masterful touch.
The Flow and Process…
Step One: Survey
Once a consultation is scheduled we meet onsite to discuss the scope of work and the details of your dreams to determine how to bring your space to life. During this phase I will gather plenty of photos, take all necessary measurements, and ask all of the qualifying questions needed to understand your investment level. Shortly after our initial consultation, you’ll receive a detailed rate sheet which clearly outlines the design goals, process, and rates for the various levels of design I offer. Based on your needs, that may be a concierge or E-design (digital mood board), detailed construction & layout designs, or a full service design plan.
Step Two: Conceptualization
Once we have carefully considered your investment level and have determined which level of design support you will need we can move forward discussing your personal needs and wants, and unique project components like personal aesthetic, architectural style, and specific desires, which will all help me dive into the design. From there, I will start the layout and design direction. Depending on which service you have purchased, I will bring the space to life with digital mood boards, construction & layout documents or design boards and renderings that include options for color palettes, furnishing, fixtures, etc. It is important to me that before selecting materials we are collectively aligned on an approved concept for each space I am designing. During this developmental stage, I’ll finish finalizing the design until we have every inch of your space accounted for. I’ll continue to send you updated floor and furniture plans, mood-boards, and proposals accordingly.
Step Three: Execution
Once all of the details of the space are finalized and ordered, I will begin executing all aspects of the installation and final styling (if full service design is selected). If full service design support is purchased I will work seamlessly with the contractor and trades on the jobsite, include overall construction project management.
